Information for visitors
Dear ticket holders,
In order to make the event and evening as enjoyable as possible for you and the other guests, you will find the most important information here.
Please share the link with your friends and colleagues who are also at the Christmas market with you.
Information about the market
Car parks and arrival
There are none Car parks on the premises. The car parks on the premises are all rented out and vehicles will be towed away. Please use the surrounding car parks (UBER Arena, Contipark, East Side Mall, nhow Hotel) or the opposite parking zone Naglerstraße/Ehrenbergstraße.
Interim waiting times
Experience in recent years has shown that there may be a short wait at some huts (e.g. for pulled pork burgers or later for crêpes). Experience has shown that this is particularly the case shortly after admission on the hour. We adjust our offer and also the size of the huts every year so that we try to shorten the waiting times even further.
We ask for a little patience here and would recommend that you look for another hut with a much shorter queue for 10-15 minutes in the meantime. The peak times are actually always quite short-lived.
Bad weather
Like other Christmas markets, our Christmas market takes place in the open air. Please remember to bring the right clothing and umbrellas. You can also purchase rain ponchos and umbrellas at the entrance, if available.
Re-entry
Please note that the ticket only entitles you to one entry at the entrance. Once you leave the grounds, you cannot re-enter.
Exhibitor / Craftsmanship
There are daily changing small local vendors for handicrafts and jewellery at the Christmas market. If you are still looking for a suitable gift, you are welcome to pack some cash for this. We have a total of 4 exhibitor spaces on the site, which are very prominently placed for you.
Toilets
The toilets are located at the end of the lakeside promenade, also known as Schneegasse. The toilets can only be reached via steps. For barrier-free toilets and the use of a changing table, please register at the entrance to the Christmas market.
The site is not barrier-free
Due to the structural conditions of the listed site, the Christmas market is not barrier-free. In order to enable people with reduced mobility to visit the market, please register in good time using the following form Form.
Games
At the market you will find several games to have fun together. In addition to the two curling lanes, the following attractions are spread across the market: Baumstammnageln, “Hau den Lukas”, XXL Jenga and an XXL-4-Gewinnt.
Security
The entire Christmas market is under video surveillance.
Drinks
Please do not bring your own food & drinks. Stamp cards for mulled wine shots can be purchased at the entrance.
Consumption of marijuana / cannabis
We would like to point out that the consumption of marijuana is not permitted on the Christmas market site. Our Christmas market is a place for the whole family, where we want to create a festive and cosy atmosphere for everyone. However, the smell and effects of cannabis can affect the well-being of our guests - especially families with children.
We thank you for your understanding and your respectful behaviour towards other visitors. Together we will make the Christmas season a wonderful and unforgettable experience for everyone.
