General questions - About the Christmas market
When will VIP tickets go on sale?
Unfortunately, it is not yet certain whether there will be a heated VIP tent on our floating pontoons in 2025. We are currently awaiting final approval and expect a decision by mid-September at the latest. As soon as we have new information, we will publish it on our website. You are also welcome to sign up for our newsletter for VIP tickets. We will inform you as soon as there is any news.
Can I buy individual tickets for sold-out days?
If a day is sold out, we are unfortunately unable to issue any more tickets at this stage, even if it is only for a few people. Under certain circumstances, we may be able to release additional capacity at a later date. This depends on the first few days of the market, as this will give us a better idea of whether we can accommodate more visitors.
What is included in the ticket price?
The ticket price includes admission, all drinks, and all food. You can view the food and drink selection here. Curling, log nailing, and all additional entertainment options can also be used free of charge.
What is included in the VIP ticket?
In addition to faster admission, the VIP ticket also includes access to the heated VIP tent. The tent has plenty of seating and its own mulled wine and beverage station. You can get the food of your choice at the Christmas market. For groups of 10 or more tickets, we automatically reserve adjoining tables for you in the VIP tent.
Is the Christmas market open to the public and is there a box office?
Admission to the Christmas market is only possible with a valid advance ticket. There is no box office; tickets can only be purchased online. Tickets are limited per day so that we can adhere to our hygiene concept and all guests can enjoy their stay without long waiting times.
How long is the Christmas market open?
The Christmas market is open daily from November 17 to December 30, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The market is closed from December 24 to December 26, 2025. There are four different admission times to keep waiting times at the individual huts as short as possible. Admission times are at 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 8:00 p.m. On weekends, there are no tickets for the 8:00 p.m. admission time and a smaller number of tickets available.
The indoor Christmas dinner can be booked from November 20 to November 23, 2025. It takes place from Monday to Saturday between 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. at the Spreespeicher.
Are there also vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options?
Yes, we also offer vegan dishes. The mushroom pan, soup, roasted almonds, and pretzels are all vegan. We do not offer special gluten-free food, but people with celiac disease should also be able to find something to eat here. You can find an overview of the dishes on our Food & Drinks page.
Are there heated seating areas to warm up?
As a rule, we are not using radiant heaters on the grounds this year. They are only being used for our employees in the food and beverage huts, as the heat can be retained more effectively there. In addition, there are a number of fire pits scattered throughout the event area where you can warm up whenever you need to. In general, it is winter and a Christmas market naturally takes place outdoors, so you should always make sure you wear warm clothing.
Is the Christmas market barrier-free?
Yes, with restrictions. Please note that some of the grounds contain old rails and cable bridges, and the floating section of the Christmas market is completely covered in wood chips, which may pose an obstacle depending on the type of mobility aid. Accessible restrooms are available in the Spreespeicher building. There will be a special entrance to allow wheelchair access.
Please register in advance using the following form: 🎄 Registration for visitors with mobility needs 🎄
Can I bring my dog?
No, because your dog would much rather be somewhere without all the noise and crowds. Places like Christmas markets also pose many other risks for dogs, such as unsuitable food and cigarette butts on the ground, which can be ingested and cause health problems. It is also possible that very hot drinks could be spilled in the crowd and hit your dog.
Is there mulled wine with a shot of schnapps?
Yes, for a small extra charge we also offer mulled wine with a shot of schnapps. However, only card payments (debit or credit card) are possible.
Is there luggage storage?
No, please only bring what you absolutely need to the Christmas market, as we have no possibility to store your luggage and other items.
Where can we see how many tickets are available for our desired date?
On the Buy Tickets page, you can select your desired date using the “Book” button above the ticket categories on the left. The number of seats available for each ticket category will now be displayed below the price.
Is it possible to book the Christmas market exclusively?
Yes, the Christmas market can be booked exclusively. However, this requires a minimum of 200 participants and a minimum turnover. We can also offer you attractive alternatives as event locations. Please submit an individual group request for this.
Can food also be packed up and taken away?
Taking food and drinks away with you is not permitted. Our concept is designed to offer our guests an unforgettable experience on site, which includes consuming food and drinks on site. In an all-you-can-eat restaurant or buffet restaurant, food cannot be packed up and taken away either, as it is intended for consumption on site.
Consumption of marijuana/cannabis
We would like to point out that smoking cannabis is not permitted on the grounds of the Christmas market. Our Christmas market is a place for the whole family, where we want to create a festive and cozy atmosphere for everyone. However, the smell and effects of cannabis can affect the well-being of our guests, especially families with children.
We thank you for your understanding and respectful behavior towards other visitors. Together, we can make the Christmas season a wonderful and unforgettable experience for everyone.
Can I consume as many drinks as I want?
Yes, in principle, you can drink as many drinks in succession as you like. Drinks are served using drink tokens. Each person receives a drink token upon entry, which they then hand back when leaving the Christmas market. Each token entitles you to one drink. Multiple drinks cannot be consumed at the same time.

Reservations
Can seats be reserved?
Seats at the Christmas market
No, it is not possible to reserve seats at the Christmas market. There are some forest taverns with seating and forest taverns with standing room. There are many other seating areas scattered throughout the grounds.
Seating in the heated VIP tent
If you have purchased tickets for the VIP tent, we will automatically reserve adjoining tables for groups of 10 or more. Otherwise, due to the limited number of tickets, there are enough seats for all ticket holders.
How does seating work at the Christmas dinner?
Our seating arrangement is based on tables of 6, which are arranged to form tables of 12.
Groups of 6 or 12 people will automatically be given their own table.
Groups with fewer or more people (e.g., 10 people) will probably share a table with other guests so that all 12 seats can be filled.
To ensure that guests who belong together can sit together when ordering additional food and drinks, we kindly ask you to provide a group name when booking.
Can tickets be reserved?
Tickets can be reserved for a maximum period of 10 days for groups of 20 or more. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer this option in any other cases for organizational reasons. If the tickets have not been paid for by then, they will be returned to regular advance sales. Please use the following form for this purpose.

Yes, you can also purchase vouchers and give them as gifts, for example. Please note, however, that vouchers can only be redeemed for available dates. You can book vouchers here.
Cancellation
Can individual tickets be returned?
As with concert tickets, tickets cannot be returned. The reason for this is that sports, leisure, and cultural events of any kind are difficult to plan and economically viable with a two-week cancellation and return policy. This is also the view of the legislator, which is why the Distance Selling Act expressly does not apply to a contract between you and us as the organizer for the provision of services in the field of leisure activities (Section 312 b (3) No. 6 BGB).
Can tickets be rebooked?
Yes, this is possible. If you have booked tickets for the wrong day, we can rebook the tickets up to 14 days before the booked date. The processing fee for this is €10.00 per ticket.
The process is relatively simple:
1.) Book your desired tickets for the appropriate date online.
2.) Send us your rebooking request via the contact form, including the old and new booking numbers.
3.) We will cancel the old tickets and refund the amount paid, minus €10 per ticket.
Payment
What payment options are available?
We offer the following payment options:
Mastercard/Visa credit card (AMEX expected to be available from October 2025)
PayPal
For companies wishing to purchase more than 20 tickets, there is also the option of purchasing tickets on account. Please let us know if you wish to purchase on account using the relevant booking form. However, payment must be received within 10 days, otherwise the tickets will automatically be put back on sale.
Can tickets be purchased on account?
Purchase on account is only possible for companies and for a minimum of 20 tickets. Please let us know if you wish to purchase on account using the appropriate booking form. Please send us your contact details and billing address. You will then receive a reservation confirmation together with an invoice with a payment term (10 days). As soon as the invoice amount has been received by our payment provider, the tickets will be sent automatically. If payment has not been made, the tickets will automatically be put back on sale.
Tip: Your company will always receive an invoice with the company address shown, which you can enter yourself during the payment process. If your company does not allow payment via PayPal or company credit card, you can also place the order with a private credit card and have the money reimbursed by the company via an expense reimbursement.
For the sake of simplicity, we ask that you choose one of the payment methods in the online shop to keep the administrative effort as low as possible. You will receive an invoice in any case. Payment on account is not possible for private individuals.
Will we receive an invoice?
Yes, immediately after your online purchase, you will receive an invoice in PDF format sent to your email address. During the purchase process, you can also specify a company address, which will then appear on the invoice. You can download the invoice from the confirmation email.
Why is my name on all tickets?
This has no particular significance; it is simply the procedure used by our ticket provider. All tickets are non-transferable and can be transferred or sold to other people without any problems.
Are there tickets for children?
Children under the age of 6 are admitted free of charge and do not need a ticket. Children aged 6 to 16 pay a reduced price depending on the time of day. You can also purchase tickets online.
